Small Groups
Study Groups
Study groups meet to study God’s Word together. Some classes are topical or study a book by a particular Christian author. Others study a particular book in the Bible. Join one for great discussion and connection with others!
Sunday 10am
Open Door Class
As the name implies, we want anyone, and everyone, to feel welcome to walk through our door and join our class – at any level of Bible knowledge and wherever they are in their spiritual journey. We encourage open and honest discussion and questions. We do not profess to have the answers, but actively seek them as a class. We select our own study materials – which may help answer questions we have in class, questions raised by a sermon series, or expound on things we would like to know more about. The classes are not “taught”, but are facilitated to encourage thought and heart-felt communication.
Searchers
This class is for adults age 40 and up who are searching for a better understanding of the bible and who seek personal growth in an atmosphere of Christian community.
Joy Class
This class has lively discussions and enriching lessons which allow the participants to grow in faith so that they can discover the path that God intends for them.
Friendship Class
This group, for those 60 and older, uses the International Bible Studies Curriculum with lots of class participation.
Ladies Bible Class
This group is for those 55 and older. This class uses the International Adult Bible Studies and is for those desiring bible study and a discussion of Christian living.
Sunday 11:15am
Joy Class #2
Currently doing a 6 week study led by Brad Tolleson will go through Lee Strobel’s book The Case for Christ.
Former atheist and Chicago Tribune journalist Lee Strobel takes an investigative look at the evidence from the fields of science, philosophy, and history.
Strobel asks challenging questions like:
- How reliable is the New Testament?
- Does evidence for Jesus exist outside the Bible?
- Is Jesus who he said he was?
- Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual event

Life Groups
A LifeGroup is a group of 8-10 people who love and support each other in their journey in faith right where they are. It is built on a foundation of personal growth, supportive prayer, and loving, grace-filled community. Knowing more about Jesus and the word of God doesn’t necessarily translate into becoming more like Jesus in real life. Becoming fully devoted followers of Christ (disciples) is not a solo journey. Connecting to, praying with, and encouraging one another is vital for applying our faith in God to our real life circumstances. LifeGroups are formed from a common desire to support one another and to become increasingly faithful Christians who are growing in love of God and others. They are especially focused on being made new by the grace of God and consist of people who want to more effectively practice their faith.
